Binding

I prefer to use only solid wood bindings. The binding area are the corner of the sides and top are an important structural element of a guitar. When routing for the bindings, the majority of the wood in the top and side are cut out to replace with binding and purfling. Replacing this wood with plastic, reduces the strength of the structure and therefore is detrimental to the sound.
